LAMS (Learning Activity Management System) is an easy-to-use e-learning solution that allows teachers to build reusable learning activities (modules) and connect them together to become a an activity sequence. By following the sequence, learners are given an environment that they can focus and learn new knowledge while collaborating with others. And teachers can track learner activities with LAM's real-time monitoring environment. LAMS system is being used in various education and professional training sectors where collaborative learning and ease of use are major considerations.

MAMS provides support for development of prototype middleware/common technical services, to enhance national research effectiveness. The project allows for the integration of multiple solutions to managing authentication, authorisation and identities, together with common services for digital rights, search services and metadata management. The project provides a 'middleware' component to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Australia's Higher Eduction research infrastructure.

The Research Activityflow and Middleware Priorities (RAMP) project seeks to improve national research effectiveness by addressing two of the most challenging components of the DEST/JISC E-Framework for Education and Research and the DEST Accessibility Framework – the areas of people-oriented workflows for research processes, and open standards authorisation for protected repositories.

The Australian Service for Knowledge of Open Source Software (ASK-OSS) provides a national focal point for advice, management, governance, storage and dissemination of Open Source Software (OSS) for research and higher education. ASK-OSS provides unbiased, pragmatic guidance on: selection of appropriate OSS for research; choosing appropriate OSS licenses; management/governance for OSS development; and storage and community development of OSS.
